I like web-based apps - I'm a big fan of 37Signals' Basecamp, Backpack, and Highrise for organizing projects, employees, information, sales/projects, marketing, etc..

There are many great Twitter apps that allow you to optimize and automate many of these activities. Personally, I also Google Alerts and filters via Gmail to keep up-to-date with happenings while not allowing my inbox to be cluttered or information to be messy. I use Remember The Milk for Gmail to organize my tasks. What are you using right now to organize your daily activities?

These are all good tips. My biggest challenge right now is just staying organized and getting all the marketing stuff together... there are so many things to track on Twitter and blogging... I can't do the marketing stuff and build the product. What do you suggest in terms of setting up your tools and infrastructure to do all these things?
